Privacy, in plain language
BraidOrbit Privacy Policy · Effective July 21, 2026
Information stored on your device
Project names, cord colours, length settings, notes, and move progress are stored locally by BraidOrbit. The app does not transmit this information to the developer.
No account, analytics, advertising, or tracking
BraidOrbit has no account system, developer server, cloud sync, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, tracking technology, or third-party SDK. It does not collect personal data, usage data, diagnostics, identifiers, purchases, location, contacts, or project content.
Retention and deletion
Local projects remain until you delete them or remove BraidOrbit. Removing the app deletes its local container from that device, subject to backup and restore features managed by you and Apple. The developer cannot view, recover, export, or remotely delete local projects.
Support email
If you email support, the email providers used by you and the developer process your address, message, and attachments. This information is used only to respond, troubleshoot BraidOrbit, and meet applicable legal obligations. Do not include sensitive or unnecessary personal information. You may request deletion, subject to legal retention requirements.
Website hosting
This site is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical request information needed to deliver and secure the site. The developer does not add advertising, analytics, or tracking to these pages.
Children
BraidOrbit is a general-audience craft utility and is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from any user.
Changes and contact
If these practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the change takes effect. For privacy questions, email compactrefinedapps@outlook.com.
