Health records stay on your device
Family profiles, blood-pressure sessions, glucose readings, notes, reminder settings, and purchase-entitlement state used by KinVitals are stored locally. The health-record directory is excluded from ordinary device cloud backup. KinVitals has no developer account system, backend, or CloudKit health-record sync.
No developer collection, advertising, analytics, or tracking
KinVitals does not transmit personal or health data to the developer. It contains no advertising, analytics, attribution, tracking, crash-reporting, or third-party SDK. The developer does not sell or use your data for profiling or cross-app tracking.
Apple Health is optional
If you enable Pro HealthKit sync for the profile marked as Me, KinVitals reads and writes supported blood-pressure and glucose samples through Apple Health after system authorization. This exchange is between KinVitals and Apple Health on your device and is controlled by Apple Health permissions. KinVitals does not transmit Health data to the developer, advertising platforms, or data brokers.
Bluetooth meter import is optional
When you open the Pro Bluetooth meter screen and start scanning, KinVitals looks nearby for the standard Bluetooth SIG Blood Pressure and Glucose services. A received reading stays on-device and is not saved until you review and confirm it. KinVitals does not send device identifiers or readings to the developer.
Purchases and reminders use Apple services
Apple processes App Store product information, purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and restoration under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. KinVitals receives entitlement information needed to unlock Pro but does not receive your payment-card details. Local reminders use Apple's notification system on your device after permission is granted.
Export, backup, import, and sharing are user-directed
PDF reports, CSV exports, and versioned backup files leave KinVitals only when you choose a destination using Apple's system interfaces. Backup import opens only a file you select and merges valid records without silently replacing existing data. File providers, email services, messaging apps, clinicians, and other chosen recipients handle exported data under their own policies.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you delete them in KinVitals or delete the app. Deleting a profile removes its local records. Deleting KinVitals removes its local app data from that device. Apple Health samples, App Store purchase records, and files you previously exported are managed separately by their respective systems or destinations.
Support email
If you email support, your email address, message, and information you choose to include are processed by the email providers used by you and the developer. They are used to respond, troubleshoot the app, and meet applicable legal obligations. Do not include health records or unnecessary sensitive information. You may request deletion of a support message, subject to legal retention requirements.
Children
KinVitals is a general-audience household utility and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from any user.
Website and changes
This static page is hosted by GitHub Pages, which may process ordinary web-server request information under GitHub's own terms and privacy statement; KinVitals does not receive that information. If app practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the change takes effect. For privacy questions, email compactrefinedapps@outlook.com.
