HangGrid Privacy Policy · Effective July 18, 2026
Information stored on your device
Wall dimensions, frame names and dimensions, mount measurements, layouts, hanging-point calculations, checklist progress, settings, and other project information are stored locally by HangGrid. The app does not transmit this information to the developer.
No account, analytics, advertising, or tracking
HangGrid has no account system, developer server, cloud sync, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, tracking technology, or third-party SDK. The app does not collect data for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking.
No camera, photos, or location access
HangGrid does not request access to your camera, photo library, precise location, contacts, microphone, or other sensitive device data. Layouts are calculated from measurements you enter.
Sharing
A project plan leaves HangGrid only when you choose to share it and select a destination in Apple’s share sheet. The selected destination handles the shared text under its own privacy terms. Review the content, recipient, and destination before sharing.
Retention and deletion
Local project information remains until you delete a project or remove HangGrid. Removing the app deletes its locally stored information from that device.
Support email
If you email support, your message, email address, and any information you choose to include are transmitted to and processed by the email providers used by you and the developer. Support messages are used to answer the request, troubleshoot HangGrid, and meet applicable legal obligations. Do not include precise home details, private project data, or other sensitive or unnecessary personal information. You may request deletion of a support message, subject to legal retention requirements.
Children
HangGrid is a general-audience home-planning utility and is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from any user.
Changes and contact
