How can we help?
HangGrid is an offline gallery-wall planner for measured layouts and hanging-point coordinates. No account, subscription, camera, or network connection is required.
Measure before arranging
Create a project, choose inches or centimeters, and enter the wall and frame dimensions using one consistent lower-left reference point. For each frame, measure its actual mounting hardware rather than estimating from the artwork or frame center.
Arrange automatically or fine-tune by hand
Choose a grid, row, column, or staircase layout and set spacing and wall margins. To adjust one frame, touch and hold it in Scale Preview, choose Move Frame, then drag it. Hanging points update from the adjusted position when you release.
How are hanging points measured?
HangGrid reports each point from the wall’s lower-left corner using the dimensions and mount offsets you entered. Double-hook points are shown separately. Re-measure the wall and every mark before making a hole.
Does HangGrid verify the wall or hardware?
No. HangGrid does not detect studs, wires, pipes, wall material, hidden hazards, suitable anchors, hardware condition, load capacity, or safe tool and ladder setup. Its checks cover entered geometry only and are not structural or safety approval. Follow manufacturer instructions and consult a qualified professional whenever uncertain.
Where is project information stored?
Projects stay on your device unless you explicitly share a text installation plan through Apple’s share sheet. Removing the app removes its local information from that device.
